Pécsvárad is a small town in the south of Hungary 19 km from Pecs. Pécsvárad has a polulation of 4100 inhabitants. The total number of houses is approximately 1400. Most of the inhabitants have low incomes. The current development of the energy prices on the world market is considerd as a major point of concern for the municipality.
