The role is to oversee all actions and activities within EU which are related to the ECOLISH scope. From this position, the PAC advises and takes decisions on the ECOLISH project, policies and strategies, guarding the interests of the ECOLISH members as well as EU policies, especially on Kyoto protocols, the Renewables White Paper and the related VKA and HKA within EIE SAVE.
The PAC has also the task to act as liaison to the relevant target groups and market sectors (as well as supply side and demand side), in order to give these sectors the opportunity to provide input to the pilots.
Members of PAC are selected by profile and by their own network for national and international dissemination actions and implementation of project results and other issues, related to the ECOLISH scope.

The service is hosted on the co-ordinator’s computer server. It aims to facilitate discussion within the project, allow the efficient transfer of project out- puts and results, news of Commission publications and Calls for Proposals for follow up actions, etc The Internet site is being continually developed to reflect the structure of the project to facilitate ease of use and navigation throughout the whole Internet site. A presence policy in relation to significant international conferences is being pursued.
